Updated FlightRadar24 Sync

We've completely revamped how you import routes from FlightRadar24. Instead of directly syncing data into your route network, you now get a full preview of all changes before anything is applied.

Preview Before You Apply

The new two-step workflow gives you complete control:

1. Fetch routes - Configure your import (airlines, dates, filters) and fetch data from FR24

2. Review changes - See exactly what will be added, updated, or removed before committing

3. Apply selectively - Choose which changes to apply and which to skip

Smart Route Matching

Configure how FR24 routes are matched against your existing routes:

• Match by flight number

• Match by callsign

• Match by airport pairs

• Match by departure/arrival time (with configurable tolerance)

This flexibility means fewer duplicates and more accurate updates.

Three Categories of Results

After fetching, routes are organized into clear categories:

• New routes - FR24 flights not in your database. Add them or skip.

• Updates - FR24 data matching existing routes with differences. Update the existing route, create a new one, or skip.

• Not found - Routes in your database that weren't found in FR24 data. End them, delete them, or ignore.

Bulk Actions

Select actions for individual routes or use "Set all" to quickly configure entire categories. Perfect for large imports.

Route Type Filtering

Match FR24 data against specific route types only (scheduled, cargo, charter, etc.) to keep your comparisons focused.

Preview History

Access your recent sync previews from the FR24 page. Each preview is stored for 7 days, so you can revisit results before deciding to apply.

Improved Route Deletion

When deleting routes in bulk, VAMSYS-synced routes are now properly scheduled for deletion while local-only routes are soft deleted, all handled automatically.
