Also, there's a way to add destination pairs. We've added these for Virtual Air Canada for some busier routes.
I am not sure what routes the A380 is used upon. I think for EK it is based purely off operational demand and whether the airport can support it. I think to use the flight pattern it will require entering every single flight number since there is no set pattern for it so it is not exactly
I see, did you turn on the setting as well? When pulling routes from FR24, it stores these fleet types to the routes and uses them for additional fleet assignment. Usually, this should solve the issue.
Yes, so when using FR24 for routes I have that option enabled. However when it comes to updating routes that already exist then it might be better if the functionality I described earlier is possible seeing as it prevents from needing to use more API credits. Otherwise with existing routes, it looks like: 1. Routes exists 2. Run fleet tool 3. To add missing fleets, then run FR24. It seems wasteful in my opinion. In some rare cases I may have a certain fleet for a route and so without the need for looking these routes up via flight ID and being able to run the auto-assignment tool without removing my changes would be ideal. Hope this makes sense -- it's 20 to 6 in the morning and I need sleep 😅
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Quick question: What rules determine which routes the A380 is assigned to? Is it possible to add these routes to the Flight pattern to prevent removing the A380 from those routes? That said, it requires the list of flight numbers.
